H.E Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Renews Qatar's Call to Create Binding Security Agreement for Middle Eastern Countries

HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani reiterated Qatar's call to all countries in the Middle East to conclude a binding security agreement, specifying the conditions for its success to be "collective and binding; based on agreed principles of security, developed with rules of governance, dispute resolution, and accountability; respectful of sovereignty and equality among its members; a commitment to non-interference in internal affairs."





Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Meets EU Officials in Brussels

HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani met separately today with HE President of the European Parliament David Maria Sassoli, HE Chair of the European Parliament Foreign Affairs Committee David McAllister, HE European Commissioner for Energy Kadri Simson, and the European Parliament's Delegation for Relations with the Arab Peninsula, during his current visit to Brussels.





Establishment of the Qatari-European Friendship Society in the European Parliament

The first meeting of the Qatari-European Friendship Society was held at the European Parliament, chaired by HE Mr. Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of Belgium and Head of the State's Mission to the European Union and Mr. Cristian-Silviu BUŞOI, President of the elected Assembly and member of the European People's Party at the European Parliament.
